Carolyn LaMore   



Carolyn graduated from Merrimack College in May 
of 2009 with a BA in Fine Arts with a concentration 
in Digital Media. She became involved in Life Teen 
at the start of her freshman year in high school. 
Since then, she has participated in many Life Teen 
events such as Christmas in the City, Youth Outreach 
Weekend, and Steubenville East. Carolyn joined as a 
CORE member in Summer 2006. She was a recipient 
of the female "Life Teen of the Year Scholarship", 
St. Aloysius Gonzaga Award for Peer Leadership, and 
the Mother Theresa of Calcutta Award for Compassion 
during her time as a teen in the program. She also 
received the Eagle of the Cross award from the 
Archdiocese of Boston in 2005. In addition to being a 
CORE member, she is also a Eucharistic minister. 
 
"I loved being in the Life Teen program as a teen. I learned a lot about my religion 
as well as my personal faith. Life Teen became a second family to me and helped 
me become who I am today. I love being able to share my faith with others, that is 
why when I was asked to join the CORE I was excited to be able to help teens as 
they go through their own faith journeys. It is my hope that they too will be able to 
form bonds of friendship and faith not only with each other but with Jesus."
