Believe it or not, stoughtonlifeteen.com has been up and running since late 2001! Now, 8 years later, it still remains a very useful tool in promoting Stoughton Life Teen and providing information about upcoming events.

A lot has changed since 2001, however. Digital photography was a new and developing consumer technology and social networking websites like MySpace and Facebook were in their infancy. Today, high resolution digital photography has become a way of life and Facebook has managed over 300 million users.

The system designed to manage photos here at stoughtonlifeteen.com was effective for many years given the number of pictures taken and what could be done with those pictures. Over time, this system became very difficult to use and required a great deal of time to make photos from an event available to the public, resulting in photos simply not being uploaded anymore. This was obviously upsetting to many people who wanted to see what was going on at Life Teen!

One of Facebook's most popular features is its photo storage and sharing capabilities. Photos can be uploaded to albums with ease and easily seen/shared with other Facebook users and those who do not use Facebook. Because of this, all new photos taken at Stoughton Life Teen events will be shared via Facebook. We hope that this change will allow us to again share our Life Teen experiences with you!

Remember that you DON'T need a Facebook account to see these pictures. Simply click on the "photo galleries" link on the left and select an album you wish to view. The album will be shown to you in a new window. In the coming months, we hope to go back and backfill all those pictures that have not made it up in the past few years and we thank you for bearing with us during this change!
