Stoughton LIFE TEEN joins the rest of
the world in mourning the loss of our 
Holy Father, Pope John Paul II.  Pope 
John Paul II was quite possibly the best 
youth minister in the world.  He had a
special place in his heart for the young 
people of the world.  This was no more 
evident in his establishment of World Youth 
Day, a gathering of the youth throughout 
the world to grow in faith and knowledge 
of God's call to young people.  

Pope John Paul II served as the successor 
of St. Peter and leader of the Catholic Church 
for 26 years.  For many youth and young 
adults, this is the only pope they have ever 
known, a pope of all popes.  Many may have 
questions about where we go from 
here as a Church and how a new pope 
is selected.  LIFE TEEN.com has created
